The Doctor says Cherissa is ready and that she will have the baby this next week. Carol will stay here through the early times with the baby to help. I think it is helpful to Cherissa and it seems to be healing to Carol. Carol has been extremely joyful this week helping Cherissa. I know it pleases her to serve, and it must be gratifying to be able to share in the part Vicki would have enjoyed so much.

Carol at OKC last Tuesday when I picked her up to go to American Idol before returning with friends to Siloam Springs.

How neat to have godly family so readily willing to pitch in & help as needed! We are praying for Cherissa to have a safe & uneventful birth, & that God will help heal her more during this time without Vicki.
So exciting about the baby and a tremendous blessing to have Carol there to lend support and assistance. It's just like Laura Story's song says in "Perfect Peace:"
